Indian to Coach Afghanistan Team

After the Pakistan super player Inzamam-Ul-Haq has been appointed as the coach for the Afghanistan team now its time for our Indian all rounder to coach the team from March to April 2016.

Indian all rounder Manoj Prabhakar, who played for India in 1990s is now appointed as the bowling coach for Afghan Team until the World Twenty20 schedule to be held in India.

Prabhakar was the leading Indian player with best of the best swing bowles in his career last coached Delhi Ranji Trophy Team in the year 2011-12.

“I am glad I can guide the Afghan team. They have immense talent and I am sure in the years to come the Afghanistan team would emerge as a force to reckon with in all forms of the game. They have shown a healthy keenness to learn the finer points of the game,” said Prabhakar to a leading daily.

Prabhakar, who has over 250 international wickets in 39 Tests and 130 ODIS, will assist former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq who is the chief coach of Afghanistan.
