Indo-Pak Bilateral Series Issue Solved

After many issues and meetings the bilateral cricket series between India and its counterpart Pakistan issue has been solved and at last they have decide their neutral venue to play the series.

"We have sent the report regarding the series to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and has asked for his permission to play the bilateral series with India on a neutral venue," PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan told media.

They have decided Sri Lanka would be the best place to play the bilateral cricket series as both the countries doesn’t have any issues with the venue.

The broadcasting rights were also achieved by both the countries. This venue was finalized as India doesn’t want to play this series at the hometown o Pakistan and Pak don’t want to play the series at India.

This decision was taken by the PCB chief and BCCI president when they met each other in Dubai on Sunday.

As of now, India is busy in playing the Test series against South Africa which will conclude on December 7, after which they will play with Pakistan.

They have decided to play three ODIs and two T2o internationals instead of two Tests, five ODIs and two T2o internationals.

The Dubai-based broadcasters Ten Sports have agreed to telecast eth series in India and Pakistan as well.

“Had the series been in India, the broadcasting rights would have gone to Star Sports as they have exclusive rights of covering India’s home series. Even if you would have termed it as Pakistan’s home series in India, there could have been legal ramifications,” said one of eth officials of BCCI.
