Indian hackers have claimed to have hacked into more than 20 Bangladesh based websites including three government domains in retaliation to a fan's photoshopped image of Bangladesh bowler Taskin Ahmed carrying the severed head of Indian skipper MS Dhoni which went viral on social media.

A team of 15 white-hat hackers of the Kerala Cyber Warriors, claim to have launched a massive attack on Bangladesh websites for trolling Dhoni.

"Message to the citizens of Bangladesh, your cricket team is nothing in front of us," wrote the hackers on each defaced site posting a picture of Dhoni.

Hackers named their operation as #OP_TROLL_BANGLADESH and threatened to deface more websites. "We are proud Indians and will not allow such attack and defaming of the nation. People of Bangladesh trolled Dhoni with his morphed picture. Dhoni replied to them on the field and we are answering to them on cyber space. So, to teach them a lesson we defaced over 20 websites. We will continue to attack more websites if the morphed picture is found being circulated by them," a member of the hacking group told Mail Today in a email conversation.

The hackers, who call themselves patriotic cyber warriors, accepted that it was illegal to deface a website. This is the same group which hacked over a score of Facebook profiles and several FB pages for running sex chats by morphing pictures of innocent girls. Kerala Cyber Warriors also attack Pakistani websites every year on Independence day, Republic Day and other days of national importance including the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
