The die-hard Pakistani fan of Virat Kohli, who was arrested last month for hoisting the Indian flag on the rooftop of his house, has been granted bail by a court.
Kohli’s fan Umer Daraz has been arrested for more than a month. He was arrested on Jan 25 .
Advocates Rizwan and Muhammad Yousaf had applied for Daraz's bail with the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Asadullah Siraj.
"On Friday, after examining police and judicial case files and hearing arguments of both sides, the court admitted Daraz’s bail plea and ordered him to furnish a surety bond worth Rs50,000,".
Daraz was arrested over treason charges.
