On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities the Prime Minster Modi will launch a scheme which will be very much useful for the disabled persons living in India.

Scheme named Accessible India campaign which helps the disabled person to live their happily as a person with no disability.

This is something like nationwide campaign to make India a disability free making the disabled persons to achieve what they want.

Achieving universal accessibility for persons with disabilities and to create an enabling and barrier free environment is the main motto of this campaign.

It struggles for the development of offices and government buildings into fully accessible by July 2018.

Not only offices but also transport facilities like airports, bus stops will be made accessible free by July 2016.

“All A1, A and B categories of railway stations in the country will be converted into fully accessible railway stations by July 2016. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will confer the national awards on outstanding persons with disabilities and individuals and organisations that are working for the empowerment of persons with disabilities,” said the central official.
