The Indo-Pakistan war of 1965 that took place between April and September of the year 1965 has completed its fifty years in this September.

On the account of the Golden Jubilee, Narendra Modi pays homage at Amar Jyothi in New Delhi, to commemorate the victory and sacrifice in the war. Modi pays tribute to the martyrs of the war.

Modi also meets the veterans’ family members. This was a 17 days war reported some thousands of causalities and the war was ended after both the countries heads claimed as victory for both of them.
