Modi congratulated Germany on the 25th anniversary of the German reunification.
He praised the leadership of the German Chancellor saying, “Chancellor Merkel, your leadership is a source of confidence & reassurance at a difficult moment for Europe and the world”.
Modi expressed his views on Germany as, “India sees Germany as a natural partner in achieving our vision of economic transformation. German strengths and India’s priorities are aligned. India and Germany can be strong partners in advancing a more human, peaceful, just and sustainable future for the world.”
Modi further extended his speech as “German cooperation and assistance in areas like smart cities, Clean Ganga and waste management have taken a concrete shape. Defence manufacturing, technology, intelligence, and countering terrorism important security dimensions of our expanding relationship.”
“Welcome Germany’s strong support for India’s membership of the international export control regimes. India, Germany committed to pursue reforms of the United Nations Security Council,” with this Modi ended his views on Germany and also spoke some important facts to make Germany stand behind India and support India.
