In yet another setback for the Congress, its former councilor Sanjay Puri, who had quit the party recently, closed two long-running websites of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Wednesday. The party lost its official website as the site administrator Sanjay Puri decided to quit from his post. The website www.DPCC.co.in now displays a message saying that Puri has withdrawn his services after his resignation from his primary membership of Congress on January 19, 2015. The site was developed and maintained by Sanjay Puri since 2008. The setback for the party comes just ahead of the Assembly elections in the national capital on February 7. The party, however, downplayed the incident claiming that the official DPCC website is fully functional. "Congress Sandesh's website was maintained by him personally. I don't want to comment on that. The DPCC website is fully functional," senior Congress leader PC Chaco said.
