14 Years of School Life, Not a Single Leave

A Class 12 student of Dumdum's Auxilium Convent here has done her school and her parents proud winning accolades for 100 per cent attendance in the last 14 years of her academic career. Chandraja Guha has not missed a single day at school and has not been marked absent in the school's attendance sheet from nursery till date. "Chandraja has set an excellent example. This will inspire many others," said Nitya Ranjan Bagchi, Principal of DumDum Kishore Bharati School.

                              After the news was reported in media, West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee invited Chandraja to Bikash Bhavan and handed her a certificate and gifts."The government will help her in future," the education minister said. Her proud parents Dolly Guha and Kshiti Ranjan Guha give all credit to their daughter for this great achievement. And its not just about her attendance. Chandraja is also very good with her studies. She has always been an A grade student and has never scored anything below 90 per cent throughout her academic career.
