Indra Nooyi:
The Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, which is the second largest food and beverages in the world is none other than Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi.
Indra was born in a Tamil speaking family. Forbes magazine ranked fourth in the list of World’s 100 most powerful women from the years 2008-14. The 59-year-old has ranked number one by the Fortune magazine in its annual ranking of Most Powerful Women in business for 2006-10. She also named as the CEO of the year 2009 by Global Supply Chain Leaders Group.
Nooyi’s Alma mater includes bachelor degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Madras Christian College, MBA from IIM Calcutta and Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management.
The Chennai born was first held as a product manager for Johnson & Johnson.
Satya Nadella:
Born into a Telugu speaking family Satya hails from Hyderabad. Currently he is the CEO of the world’s leading company Microsoft before that he was the executive Vice President of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group.
Before travelling to U.S for his M.S degree in Computer Science at University of Wisconsin, did his bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. After all he received MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Nadella is a passionate reader of American and Indian Poetry and loves to play Cricket. Satya mentioned that he learnt the qualities of leadership and teamwork from Cricket.
Francisco D’Souza:
D’souza is one among the youngest Chief Executive officers in the software field. Francisco is the CEO of Cognizant since Jan 2007. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa.
D’Souza attended bachelor of Business Administration from the University of East Asia, Macau and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.
He has a total of 20 years experience in Information Technology. In 2013 he was appointed as the independent director on the board of general electric. In the year 2014 he was awarded as the newsmaker of the year by The Financial Express.
Shantanu Narayen:
Talented Indian who was appointed as a member of Management Advisory Board of US President Barack Obama is Shantanu Narayen. He is the CEO of Adobe Systems.
Narayen received an honorary doctorate in applied science from his alma mater Bowling Green State university. Prior to that, he holds his Bachelor degree from Osmania University with Electronics as main stream, MBA from University of California.
Shantanu offered his talent to Apple later served as director for Silicon Graphics.
Ajaypal “Ajay” Singh Banga:
Ajay Banga is the President and CEO of MasterCard, the officials also decided that soon Banga will be a member of MasterCard’s Board of Directors.
Ajay hails from Maharashtra and graduated with Economics as main subject from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
 In 2015, US President Barack Obama appointed him as the Member of President’s Advisory Committee for Trade policy and negotiations. Banga is also the chairman of USIBC (U.S.-India Business Council).
Also, Anshuman Jain- Former co-CEO of Deutsche Bank, Sanjay Jha – CEO of GlobalFoundaries and former CEO of Motorola Mobility are the others who occupies the list.
