Introduction :

Ram Pothineni who stepped into the film industry in a very tender age has cemented his shadow as energetic and mass entertainer. Hits movies namely Devdas, Ready, Kandireega has portrayed him as a talented hero. Ram bagged many flops out of few hit movies. Following the same theme in his movies is the main backdrop. Rectifying his fault of following the same type of story, he promised his fans that he will come up with the new story. Let us see whether Shivam has a different story, will he satisfy his fans? Story :

Shiva (Ram) who is a great supporter of love unites them who want to marry against their parents will. This puts his friends in deep trouble. As usual Shiva falls in love with Tanuja (Raashi Khanna). Shiva follows Raashi till her village and tries to do everything to win her. Accidentally, Shiva lands into huge problem with Bhoji Reddy (Vineet Kumar) and Abhi (Abbhimanyu Singh). What happens at last? What is the relation between Bhoji, Abhi and Shiva? Why will Abhi kidnap Tanu? This will give us rest of the story.

Plus Points:

Ram as ever proved his energetic mettle. He exposed himself well in all fight, romantic and emotional scenes. Rashi Khanna with her adorable looks grabbed one’s attention. They both share a great screen space. There are many experienced stars who handled comedy correctly. DSP’s music is the big asset for the movie.

Minues Points :

Movie close to three hours is the main drawback. The routine and irritating climax bore us a lot. Climax will drag on and on. Story is absolutely not interesting. There are few comedy clips around which the movie will rotate for long period. Screenplay was utilized in a jet speed way. Director being a debutant turned as a villain to the movie by messing up some places in the flick.

Conclusion :

On the whole, Shivam is same routine story. The same old story, same comedy, same story line. If you are okay with the routine entertainment then can manage with Ram performance and Songs. This film has nothing much to talk about. Ram fans, mass entertainers can enjoy the film.
