Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata in a thriller match by 5 runs

Chasing a target of 172, KKR lost the match by 5 runs after Mumbai Indians notched the victory from teir jaws. A fantastic last over by Kieron Pollard has kept Mumbai's play-offs hope alive. Needing 12 in the last over to win KKR only managed to score 6 runs. With this loss KKR yet to qualify for play-offs and now it all depends on the their last league match against Rajasthan Royals who also keen to make to IPL play-offs. Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to bowl against  Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians here at Wankhede Stadium, on Thursday. It's a must win match for Mumbai to keep their play-offs hope alive. On the other hand, KKR would look to cement their place in top 2 of points table. Both the teams has made one change each, Vinay Kumar in for MI and Shakib Al Hasan for KKR.
