Bollywood bubly actress Alia Bhatt who is appreciated for her portrayal in Imtiaz Ali’s Highway said she says she would love to work in regional films and has acclaimed director like Mani Ratnam is on her wish list.

“My dad (Mahesh Bhatt) keeps pushing me to watch regional films. He advised me I must to Bengali films. I think I always wanted to work with Mani Ratnam. May be, I will go down to the south and work with Mani Sir” she said at the unveiling of Filmfare magazine cover.

The Padma Shri and National film award winning director was known for his "Political trilogy" consisting of Roja (1992), Bombay (1995), and Dil Se (1998).

While Alia was asked about the Student of the Year sequel, the actress avoided the question and said, “We can do ‘Kapoor & Sons’ sequel too. Let’s talk more on this.”

                Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions ‘Kapoor & sons’ stars an ensemble cast including Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, and Alia Bhatt. The film is scheduled for release on March 18, 2016.
