Sonakshi Sinha has just joined a growing list of Indian actors who don’t mince their words when it comes to tackling trolls. The plain-speaking star slammed a fan on Monday evening during one of her #SonaSays sessions, a weekly Q&A interaction she conducts with her fans on Twitter.

Sonakshi was enraged when a fan asked her, “When are you showing us your body? When will you wear a bikini?” Not the one to keep quiet, the actor retorted: “Ask your mum or sister the same question you creep. Let me know what they say!”

As expected, Twitter exploded in a matter of minutes, and Sonakshi was one of the top trending names on the social media for hours on Monday night.

One Twitter user, however, had a problem with Sonakshi raising her voice. She wrote: “@sonakshisinha Bollywood actresses who sell their skin for money need not lecture us about what is shameless!”The fight took an ugly turn from here.

Sonakshi didn’t waste any time in reacting to the comment. She wrote on her timeline: “@aditi_ca US?? So ur sayin ur in his category ???? What a dhabba on womankind u urself are for sharing his disgusting line of thought.”

Soon, actor Varun Dhawan too jumped in Sonakshi’s support and the exchanges turned uglier. Asking his fans to start trolling the woman, Varun wrote on his timeline: “Everyone This girl needs to be trolled. pleas educate her.” He added: “Aditi you need to shut up coz you misjudged your brain for your ass. I guess that’s where you think from.

Later, Varun apologised for his choice of words and wrote, “Don’t mean to offend anyone but when people take a pot shot at my profession I react. Peace if you guys think ul are right then u are. @Sanzu_425 @BeingJanak I have no problem with anyone wearing a bikini but if someone says bollywood actresses sell their skin It’s wrong,” he added.

Sonakshi later deleted the tweet and wrote, “Im deleting the tweet because he apologized. I hope he and his type learnt a good lesson in respecting women, no matter which profession.”
