The super duper singing show Indian Idol has introduced many talented singers to the filmy dunia. Many of them have planted their career in Bollywood as well as Tollywood industry.
Indian Idol was first started in the year 2004-2005. It has reached till season 6 and Indian Idol Junior season 2 has completed on this Sunday declaring Ananya Sritam Nanda as the winner.
Anany Nanda, 14 hails from Bhubaneswar battled out with Nityashree Venkatarananan from Tamil Nadu and Nahid Afrin form Assam. Ananya was eliminated from theatres last year was declared as the winner this year. She won a trophy and a contract worth Rs 1 million from the TV channel.
Speaking about her passion Ananya says that, she wants to become a Scientist, but won the hearts of the folks and proved that failure is the first step for success.
Ananya’s favorite singers are Shreya Goshala and Arijit Singh also plays harmonium. Enjoying her achievement Ananya said, "This is the best moment of my life. I am speechless! With the mentoring and the training I have received, I am thankful to Indian Idol Junior. I think all my co-contestants deserve this trophy. I am really thankful to the viewers of Sony Entertainment Television for showering us with so much love and support. I am going to miss this platform, training, my friends, Sonakshi Ma'am, Vishal and Salim Sir."
