The blockbuster hit film Bajrangi Bhaijaan story is identical to the real life of a 16-year-old girl named Geeta. This girl was divagated from India border to Pakistan when she was a child.
The same situation happens with Munni in the film Bajranji Bhaijan, where the little girl was strayed from Pakistan to India. Miracle is Munni is a mute girl in the film and Geeta is also a mute girl in real life.
Being a Hindu, Geeta was allowed to offer prayers at temple by her foster parents. Kabir Khan and Salman Khan both were surprised with the coincidence that happened with them.
Kabir also said that they are trying to spread the news across various media platforms so that she can reach her family as soon as possible.
“We came to know of Geeta’s case just two days before and it was extremely surprising. There are far too many resemblances, little girl, who can’t speak, lost across the border. So, when I received calls from newspapers and channels, I thought we should talk about it. “If we can help in any way to bring attention to it, to spread more information across newspapers and channels, then it’d be really good for the case,” he said at a press conference held at The Indian Express.
Kabir says by wondering about the coincedence, “Would she actually be able to retrace her family in India after so long? I have my doubts. So many years have passed since she strayed away from her home. Now when she’s suddenly so visible on the television channels it is discouraging that no one from India is coming forward to claim Geeta.”
