Salman Khan's "Kick" was released long ago, but the movie has been remembered for its stylish and high-octane action sequences. Although the film was panned by critics in the country, it has managed to impress the organisers of Taurus World Stunt Awards. According to a report, the action flick has been nominated in the categories of Best High Work and Best Stunt Rigging alongside Mark Wahlberg's "Transformers: Age of Extinction", Chris Evans' "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", Hugh Jackman's "X-Men: Days of Future Past", Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables 3", and Channing Tatum's "22 Jump Street". Ahead of the film's release, it was reported that around 57 cars, 13 buses, and a chopper had been blown to shoot a particular action sequence. Also, director Sajid Nadiadwala flew in a team from Los Angeles to operate multiple drones for various shots. "I like to make films which are larger than life. A particular sequence in the film sees Salman drive through the city, creating a ruckus. We first shot in London but couldn't complete it as Salman couldn't make it there. Then we moved to Poland. The quiet city had never seen anything of that sort before. Of course, Salman insisted on doing the stunts himself," Sajid said. Elaborating further, Salman said he was lucky to have producers who were ready to spend money, adding that technology is essential as actors are gripped with limitations when it comes to death-defying stunts. Soon after the trailer was released, the train sequence - in which Salman hops off a cycle right before crossing the rail lines - had become quite a rage. However, it did come with a statutory warning.
