For director Maniratnam, it is a sort of comeback as his Ok Bangaram is scheduled for release on April 17th. His recent films like Villain and kadali flopped big time. But everything is not going smooth for him. According to reports, Mani is facing ire from distributors who have lost big time with Kadali. Many Tamil distributors have lost crores and they are approaching Tamil Producers Association to make Mani pay them back the deficit. Otherwise they may not allow smooth release of the flick. On other side, Censor board revising committee is likely to suggest U/A for Ok Bangaram for the kind of content it has. We have to see if Maniratnam comes out breathing easy from these issues.
