Puli is a cleverly scripted film, Music director Devi Sri Prasad said. Although it is a film fantasy film, it has scope for all the commercial elements that one would expect in a Vijay film. The film, directed by Chimbu Devan, will have six songs in all. Music-wise, this film will have a very different genre. I have two targets for each song. One, my music should match the scale of the grandeur with which each one of the songs is being shot and two, it should also work commercially. Three songs are already done. The team has already shot for the first song and they will be shooting the second song shortly." So, will he get Vijay and Shruti Haasan to sing in this film? "Both are really good singers. So, you can expect them to render a number in the film," he says with a smile. "I am experimenting with a lot of new sounds in this film."
