India’s biggest motion picture Rajamouli’s directorial Baahubali is in the race of Oscar. Yes…you have read it right….
The five member Oscar selection panel headed by Amol Palekar, after scrutiny of 45 films they selected Baahubali as the India’s official entry to the Oscar.
According to media reports, the Telugu film Chamber of Commerce said that the greatest films of Telugu industry ever Baahubali –The Beginning was selected and in the Race of Oscar.
But Baahubali will face tough competition from the Hindi films namely Masaan, Haider and PK. The visually highlighted movie was a highest grossing flick of the Telugu industry till date.
Prabhas, Rana starred movie under Rajamouli direction was much impressed by the audience and we really hope that Baahubali should achieve Oscar and gives a big treat for Tollywood.
This movie is the second one which gets selected for Oscar after 29 years, where the kamal Hassan starred K Viswanath directorial emotional drama Swathi Muthyam was officially entered to Oscar from India but unfortunately couldn’t achieve it.
