Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the world’s top seed in Tennis for her victory in “US open Women’s Doubles finals” with her co-player Martina Hingis.

The Swiss-Indian duo who also won the Wimbeldon is very happy for their journey together. The excited Mirza said that, "It has been a great year for us," Mirza said. "To back up [Wimbledon], we feel like we're a really solid team."

The 34-year-old Hingis expressed her happiness as, “From the start, we hit it off, our games work well together." The duo is not only best in the partnership performance but also as single they do have good titles.

Hingis has now won a total of 14 grand slam doubles titles whereas India’s pride player Mirza has five titles in her bag.
