Modi on his two country visit to Singapore and Malaysia started in a very grand way. Today he had received a grand welcome form Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam.

In his schedule, he will have a meeting with his Singapore Counterpart Lee Hsein Loong and they both will sign on the India-Singapore strategic partnership to increase bilateral relations.

The strategic partnership mainly focuses on defense relations, economic and cultural operations, skill development and capacity building etc.

Modi will address the people in India-Singapore Economic Convention and also interact with different Chief Executive Officers of various companies.

Both of the Prime Ministers will release a stamp which identifies the 50 years of diplomatic relation between both the countries.

Prime Minister Modi will also visit the Institute of Technical Education which offers course in vocational study in Singapore.

Before wrapping up his visit, he will address Indian Diaspora at Singapore Expo in which over 20 thousand people have registered themselves.

The Prime Minister will return to New Delhi ahead of the winter session of the Parliament that begins on November 26.
