Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed his two day tour in United Arab Emirates and landed in India on Tuesday.
Modi’s tour was successfully completed with an agenda includes cooperation in key areas like trade, investment, business, security, maritime security and intelligence sharing.
“We (India and the UAE) have spoken in one voice against terrorism, Good terrorist, bad terrorist, good Taliban, bad Taliban, this won’t work. A decision has to be taken: are you with terrorism or humanity?” said Modi.
Modi further added, “Those who indulge in terrorism must be punished. That is the message resonating here today,” also said that that gone were the days when a nomenclature of good and bad terrorism would be accepted.
PM also addressed Indian workers at UAE in a Cricket Stadium with big business tycoons. PM’s speech was preceded by 90-minute cultural programme to entertain the 50,000 people who came all over to meet Modi.
Modi extracted an investment pledge from a foreign country to invest $75 billion in India. This is the most concrete outcome of his two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (16-17 August).
