Modi today greeted the President Pranab Mukherjee on his 80th birthday. Modi said Pranab as “invaluable asset” to the nation.
"I convey my heartfelt wishes to our beloved President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee on his birthday. I pray for his long and healthy life," Modi tweeted.
"President Mukherjee's long years in public life make him an invaluable asset to our nation. His wisdom and intelligence have few parallels," Modi wrote.
Pranab, born on 11 December 1935 into a Bengali Brahmin family in Mirati, Bribhum district of Bengal.
Mr. Mukherjee is the 13th and current President of India. He also has a political career of six decades. He is the senior leader of Indian National congress and prior to the President role he was the Union Finance Minister from 2009 to 2012.
He is a graduated in MA degree in Political Science and History and also LLB degree from the department of law of the University of Calcutta.
He worked as a clerk in the office of the deputy accountant-general (Post and Telegraph) in Calcutta.
Anyways, he is now the most respectable President of India. Happy Birthday Mr Pranab Mukherjee.
