Modi’s new Mission

Being an India’s Prime Minister, Modi till date implemented many schemes and missions like Banking for the poorest, Adopt a village, Make in India, Swachh Bharat, Toilets in School and many more to list.

                            Recently, he has come up with new mission named “Mission Indradhanush”; it is the world’s largest immunization drive for Polio free nation and to accelerate full immunization in the country.

                           The target of this new mission is to increase the current immunization from the existing 1% to more than 5% per year. The intention of this Mission is not to die any child due to vaccine-preventable disease.

                            Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates two day Global Call to Action Summit 2015 in New Delhi. In this summit addressing all the delegates’ modi said that, India is the first country to respond to reduce newborn mortality. Modi further mentioned, Every Newborn Action Plan in world summit 2014, India Newborn Action Plan in India in 2014 was launched in order to reduce the Neonatal Mortality Rate and still births to single digit by 2030.

                           In accordance with the government of India also launched Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojana, Janani Suraksha Karyakram and all could be possible through National Health Mission. Individual health tracking system was also launched countrywide with Maternal and Child Health Tracking System. More than 92 million mothers and 78 million children have already registered in it.

                          We also launched Special Newborn Care Units for training the personnel and skill them for better management of child sickness said Modi. He also repeated this offer to all the countries present in the summit for polio eradication.
