Modi at the Inaugural ceremony of the India-Africa summit gave some statements regarding both the nations.

“Africa’s economic growth has gathered momentum and has a more diversified base. 2/3rd of India & Africa are youthful; the future belongs to youth. This is our century to shape and build.This forum is a meeting to bring together the dreams of one-third of humanity under one roof,” said PM Modi.

Narendra Modi further said, “Africa and India are two bright spots of hope and opportunities in the global economy. Technology will be a strong foundation of partnership between India and Africa. The heartbeat of 1.25 billion Indians and 1.25 billion Africans are in rhythm. We will work to reduce digital divide within Africa and between Africa and rest of the world.”

Explaining about the ways to deepen our relationships Modi made these statements, “We will deepen India-Africa partnership on clean energy, sustainable habitats, public transport and climate resilient agriculture. Today, we pledge to walk together, with our steps in rhythm and our voices in harmony.”
