Modi at an election rally in Nawada, Bihar on Thursday, revealed his eight day silence on the lynching of Mohammad Akhlaq in dadri, Uttar Pradesh.

As we all know, Akhlaq who was suspected of storing and having Beef meat was beaten to death by mod.

He said that, “I have said it earlier too. Hindus should decide whether to fight Muslims or poverty. Muslims have to decide whether to fight Hindus or poverty. Both need to fight poverty together. The country has to stay united, only communal harmony and brotherhood will take the nation forward. People should ignore controversial statements made by politicians, as they are doing so for political gains.”

When we switch to the Modi speech at Sasaram, Bihar, here are the highlights of his speech.

“I believe this election will punish the old governments that spoiled Bihar. Lalu ji wants to rule Bihar with a remote control. He calls himself the 'Big Boss'. People of Bihar should ask Lalu ji why he is not fighting the elections this time. There is one leader who insulted a Dalit child. The public has decided to take Sasaram towards development. It is visible in the crowd,” said Modi.

“They look up a new abuse word in the dictionary everyday for me. They came together just for the chair. They are just greedy for power. You are the Supreme Court and Chief Justice of India. RJD, JDU and Congress should give account to what they did for Bihar. In 2019, when I come, I promise I will tell you how much work I did during my rule.”

“Bihar needs Vikaas Raj, not Jungle Raj. Choose Vikaas Raj for development. I have a dream - to provide 24 hours electricity in Bihar. They promised to provide electricity, but did they fulfill the promise? But they came back to ask for vote.  A 1 lakh 65 crore package was given for the development of Bihar.”

“The youth of Bihar are progressing wherever they go. But they could not do anything for the progress of Bihar. Bihar in terms of education is 29th in India. Give power to BJP for Bihar's development.”
