Narendra Modi on the 60th death anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar remembered him and spoke about his importance in India.
“Only a few individuals who remain alive in public consciousness, even 60 years after their death. The more we recall Dr. Ambedkar, the more we come to respect his vision and his approach to inclusiveness,” said Modi.
“Even after 60 years, Dr. Ambedkar is still alive & that is his greatness. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was a visionary and profound thinker,” says PM Modi.
“Dr. Ambedkar's rich thoughts on social justice are very well known but less is known about his economic thoughts. Be it a Finance Commission or RBI, Dr. Ambedkar envisioned all of this. Such was his greatness.”
Modi Further said, “Dr. Ambedkar and the Constitution of India should always be discussed and talked about in this country. Dr. Ambedkar's vision for women empowerment, India's federal structure, finance & education are really appreciable.”
