The paceman who had appeared in 38 Tests and 51 ODI’s for Bangladesh Shahadat Hossain’s wife was arrested for torturing their 11-year-old maid.
The cricketer and his wife named Nrittya Shahadat were last month accused of torturing their maid and a case was registered against them under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
Syed Kaiyumuzzaman Khan the DCP told that considering the case they have arrested Nrittya from one of their relative’s house. They were also hunting to arrest the cricketer as well.
On September 6 the tender aged girl bought allegations that she had been tortured by the cricketer and his wife, a week after the allegation when the girl was found crying in the lanes of Dhaka, they suspended the cricketer.
Whereas, the cricketer has filed complaint essaying that maid had gone missing. The maid rushed to Dhaka Medical hospital for her treatment.
