Hospitalized Dalmiya finds Stable Now

The President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) who has a history of acute coronary syndrome was hospitalized due to chest pain and underwent angiography at hospital last night.

The 75-year-old Jagmohan Dalmiya finds stable now according to the reports of the hospital. The Source revealed that, “it was not advisable to do a primary stenting and doctors will take a decision later in the day,” adding his condition is being closely monitored in coronary critical care unit of the hospital. Doctors had performed a “non-invasive thrombus aspiration intervention but significant residual thrombus load persisted with poor distal run off in capillary bed.”

Dalmiya had been admitted into the Cath lab at BM Birla heart Research Institute for coronary angiography during which multiple lesions were observed with total occlusion of left anterior descending coronary artery.

The hospital officials said that, Mr. Dalmiya is out of danger now and is under the examination in coronary critical care unit of the hospital.
