Seriously, when there is some strict match between India and South Africa is going on in Ferozeshah Kotla, the excited school students rushed to watch the match in the stadium.
But what happens is, as there are much differences between the ruling AAP party and Delhi Police Department, the cops did not allowed 8,000 school students carrying their carriage into the stadium.
Children from Economically weaker section and also from government school across the city were spotted with their lunch boxes, whereas the police people did not allowed them inside.
"Yes, we did not allow them carry any food item inside the stadium because we follow certain security procedures, but we had kept the refreshment boxes at the corridor outside the seating area and informed the kids that they can come outside and eat in case they feel hungry," Central Delhi DCP Param Aditya said.
"These kids get the meal boxes, given by the Delhi government, in the buses itself which ferry them to and fro from their respective schools. Some school children get the boxes from Bal Bhawan area, where they board buses. When we reasoned it out with the police personnel, all our efforts went in vain as they stuck to their stand,” said the senior DDCA Functionary.
