National Cricket Academy, center of excellence and brilliance is now going to shift North.

It was founded in 2000 and Bangalore is the home place for NCA since foundation.

Board of NCA during its meeting on Thursday decided to shift NCA from South to North.

They have decided to move the premier training center to North with world class facilities and infrastructure and places that short-listed are Pune, Dharamsala and Mohali.

During a meeting on April 30, NCA board headed by MP Pandove decides to move the academy to outskirts of the city but stopped due to some issues on the 49 acre plot.

BCCI in 2013 had decide to shift the stadium with full class facilities from Chinnaswamy stadium to new facility at Kurki near Bangalore airport but couldn’t made it due to some land issues.

BCCI is likely to take the final decision on its Annual General Meeting. Hopes are on Dharamsala and Mohali who have residential academies run by Punjab Cricket Association and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association.
