Former cricketer and commentator Ravi Shastri accepting the approval of BCCI decided to retain as the Team Director of Indian Cricket team till 2016T20 World Cup.

The other legendaries in the cricket field are raising voice against the duo Ravi Shastri and Virat for training the teammates to behave rude with the opponents, but the record as team director of Ravi is so good that BCCI again wants him to direct the team.

While coming to the records of Shastri, he was appointed as the Team Director in August 2014 has given the extension till T20 World Cup in April. According to the cricket reports, the schedule of the tournament is to be held from March 11 to April 3.

The main important achievements of the veteran cricketer is India’s Semi Final finish in the 50 over World Cup in Australia and New Zealand along with Virat Kohli’s Test Side winning against Sri Lanka after 22 years.

Praising the performance of the cricket coaching staff, the BCCI also requested Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and also VVS Laxman to extend their tenure.

Sanjay Bangra stays as the assistant coach for batting, Bharat Arun remains as the bowling consultant, R Sridhar as the fielding coach.
