Time to Resume Indo-Pak Match: Zaheer Abbas

The International Cricket Council President Zaheer Abbas thinks that, this is the right time to resume the bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan.

Pakistan is using the influence of ICC president to resume the match. Zaheer said on Tuesday that not only Pakistan but also the whole world is waiting to see the resumed match between India and its counterpart.

"It's a very difficult question to answer. I mean, whole world wants Pakistan and India to play. I hope time will come and we will start playing the game. Whole world is looking for the Indo-Pak series, no doubt about it. I hope it will start soon because the World Cup has come," Abbas, a former Pakistan captain told.

"It's not just Pakistan wants to play against India and India also wants to play against Pakistan. If they play, this is the right time to start. As CEO (Dave Richardson) said, everybody is looking forward to Indo-Pak matches," added Abbas.

Abbas on his visit to Hyderabad for the prize distribution of the Moin-ud-Doula tournament said to enhance the profile of the tournament which earlier gave chance for foreigners to participate.

He also hope that, BCCI will hold further talks with PCB to organize the most awaiting game in the neutral place to both the countries that is UAE.

Appreciated Virat Kohli for his better leadership, also praised the changes that are made in Hyderabad from his last visit.
