The famous Rajasthan Royals players Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila was banned and suspended from playing cricket due to spot fixing in the 2013 Twenty20 IPL tournament.

The former cricketer Sreesanth, spoke about the sore he underwent when he was arrested and put in Tihar jail for encouraging spot fixing run by the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

According to some news report, Sree said that he had struggled a lot for the first four days in the jail. There where 480 people in a dormitory of 210. A person, who has won two world cups, was put among murders and rapists.

The cricketer, who had played 27 tests and 50 ODI, had requested an appointment with BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur to lift up the ban imposed on him after he was convicted by a court. He wanted to file an application to lift up the ban and also waiting for Anurag Thakur’s call.

It was reported that, BCCI Secretary reiterated that there is no way back for Sreesanth. He also wanted to play cricket but only when his life ban is lifted.
