1965 war, the seventeen day war which witnessed the largest tank battle since World War II, between India and Pakistan left thousands of causalities and later declared India as upper hand over Pakistan.

Following this incident, Defence day is celebrated on September 6th in Pakistan.

On the account of 50th anniversary of the 1965 war, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bowed to all the soldiers who participated in the war for Motherland.
