Missile Man of India who left the world on July 27 2015 left the world with intense tears.
Modi pays homage on the account of APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday described APJ as “Rashtra- Ratna” before a “Rashtrapati” at DRDO Bhavan in New Delhi.
Modi attended the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. Kalam at DRDO bhavan. He also said that, a memorial of Dr. Kalam will be build at his birth place Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.
Speaking about his non forgettable achievements, Modi said Kalam always sought fresh challenges to overcome in life, Kalam always wanted to remember as a teacher.
The Prime Minister said that Dr. Kalam had not only risen himself, from humble beginnings to the highest office in India, but had also built great institutions, virtually from scratch. He said all of us should draw inspiration from his example.
The Prime Minister unveiled a statue of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at DRDO Bhavan. He opened and witnessed a photo exhibition titled – “A Celebration of Dr. Kalam’s Life.” The Prime Minister released a commemorative postal stamp on Dr. Kalam.
