In a bizarre incident, a lady disciple of a Swamiji in Karnataka set ablaze self and hugged the Swamiji with a view to settle scores with him on Tuesday. The incident occurred at the Koppala Matt at Matikatti village in Yalaburgi Taluk near Bangalore. The lady disciple later succumbed to injuries in a hospital while the Swamiji, with most of his body attractiong serious burn injuries, is battling for life. Reports say, the lady disciple was involved in illegal relationship with the Swamiji and has been seeking a share in the properties of the Mutt. The Swamiji had rejected her demand, according to media reports. The woman then poured kerosene on her body, set ablaze self and went to his room and hugged him.
