Earthquake in Indian Ocean

There was a high level earthquake in the southern part of the Indian Ocean which was recorded as 7.1 magnitude.

But, as it was in the middle part of the ocean there have been no damages or any indications of deadly paths.

“The epicentre of the quake was at the Southeast Indian ridge which is located along the sea floor of the southern Indian Ocean.”

It was reported that, according to the Geological Survey the earthquake struck around 3,100 kilometers southwest of eth Australian city of Perth and also 1,000 Km from the uninhabited Heard Island and McDonals Islands.

This incident took place around 06:24 am (22:24 GMT Friday).
