Are you thinking what might be the reason for throwing a family outside the Cinema Hall?

We will tell you clearly, there is a rule and tradition in Maharashtra theaters that they should play the National Anthem before every movie.

As a proud Indian everyone should stand as a respect. This should happen at every place irrespective of anything.

While playing National Anthem in cinema hall named PVR at Mumbai one of the families present had not stood up and it was like disrespect to the prestigious national anthem.

The Angry Indians protested the issue and asked them to leave out of the hall for insulting the national anthem.

When we go deep into the details, it was known that it was a Muslim family who rejected to stand.

“The manager said they asked the family to leave after people protested. However, there was nothing to do with the religion of the family if they are Hindu or Muslim. There is no case registered.”

“PVR Cinemas is fully committed to the policy of equal respect for everyone. According to order of Maharashtra Government, it is mandatory for all cinemas to play the National Anthem before every film. Being a law abiding company, like all other cinemas in Maharashtra, PVR Cinemas follows the practise prior to every show. On November 29, 2015 there was an altercation between guests at one of our cinemas in Mumbai. Our staff intervened keeping in mind the safety of guests and a peaceful environment for all our guests,” said the PVR spokesperson.
