Not too long ago, Microsoft launched the Lumia 535 smartphone in India to take on the budget market segment. Today, the company has launched yet another budget handset in the country known as the Lumia 435. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 5,999, which is treading into the budget segment. The handset comes with a 4-inch 480x800 resolution display, a 5MP camera on the back and a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 chip. The handset comes with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage by default, which can be expanded with a microSD card slot. Rounding off the specs sheet is the 1,560 mAh battery and Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The smartphone is unlikely to make a major impact on the budget segment here in India, thanks to the presence of the likes of the Lenovo A6000, the Moto E and several other handsets in the sub-7,000 range. The Lumia 435 is available from Microsoft's online store, which is running in partnership with Indiatimes shopping. The company expects to have the smartphone on your doorsteps in four working days if you place an order right away.
