Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), is planning to sneak into Indian territory along with 12-15 battle-hardened jihadis to carry out terror strikes just days before US President Barack Obama’s visit, it has come to light. According to sources in the BSF, the intelligence input based on electronic surveillance has sent security agencies into a tizzy. The specific input sent to the Union Government on Monday, suggested that Shaheen’s lieutenant Taya Rafiq is also part of the terror group which is largely made of Let and Pak Taliban (TTP) terrorists. “The terrorist movement is being monitored and the Centre has asked the BSF to deploy additional companies to thwart infiltration attempts. Around 10 additional companies are being rushed to strengthen the security measures,” sources said. Another technical interception is even more horrifying as terrorists are planning to launch infiltration attempts from many launching areas simultaneously. The input received on Monday suggest that a terrorist group comprising 10 members led by LeT commander Abdul Rasheed is planning to infiltrate from Poonch area before Obama’s visit. Many LeT jihadis planning to infiltrate have received arms training in TTP terror camps, sources said, pointing out at the presence of battle-hardened jihadis at launch pads across the border. The technical interception has revealed that JeM, responsible for the 2001 terror attack on Parliament, has declared 2015 as year of ‘inqilab’ and the group led by Maulana Masood Azhar is planning to launch jihad just before the visit of Obama.
