Now-a-days travelling in cab is easier than picking a bike or something else. Uber is one of the famous cab’s that are driving on the road and available to all travelers.
Recently a petition against Uber cabs has been made by the driver Mohammed Zaheeruddin who is driving the cab under Uber contract.
In this petition, Syed Nizamuddin the president of Telangana State Cabs and Bus operators Association alleged that Uber had promised to pay 70,000 to Taxi drivers.
They have lured the drivers and bring everyone into their contract and not paying the promised amount.
The drivers who has contract with Uber are mostly from minority side and they are very hardly meeting their household expenditures.
When they contacted the SMC chairman Abid Rasool Khan he said, "We have sent notices to the general manager of Uber India Systems Pvt Limited. Notices to the East Zone deputy commissioner of police have also been sent since the suicide took place in that particular zone. Further, since the transport department issues permits to taxi services, a notice has been sent to the commissioner of transport. The next course of action will be taken once we receive replies," Khan said. The case has been posted for hearing on January 4, he added.
