IndiGo one of the famous and renowned flights has rejected a woman in short dress sitting in the flight.
According to some reports, the staff in the IndiGo flight which is taking off from Mumbai to Delhi on Monday felt that the passenger’s clothes were not appropriate and allegedly stopped her.
The woman who was being stopped wear a frock had landed in Mumbai from Doha on Qatar airlines and wants to take a connecting flight from Mumbai to Delhi was stopped.
One of the co-passengers said that, “She was not permitted to board because she was wearing a knee-length frock which was considered inappropriate wear by airlines that has frocks of the same length for its stewardesses' uniforms! (sic)".
Responding to the incident the officials form IndiGo said that, “it regrets that a passenger experienced "untoward behavior" at the Mumbai airport but citing guidelines that "employees and the nominated family members are required to maintain a specific dress code, as and when they fly with the airline under the staff leisure travel privileges."
