Are you aware of the contest called Mr Ugly? Yes, there is a contest called Mr Ugly which takes place at Zimbabwe. We all are familiar with Mr beautiful, Mr Handsome etc contests but listening to the contest title is something weird. Isn’t it? Lets us go deep into the details and know more.
Zimbabwe’s unique contest Mr Ugly was conducted and the winner is Mison Sere who was very ugly with the missing teeth and dangerous looks.
But after the contest is done, some of them claim that it was not the correct decision of choosing a winner.
They claim that, because of his missing teeth he looks uglier than others and it was not declared based on natural ugliness.
Mr Sere won $500 ($330) and plans to start a TV career.
The organiser David Machowa told that, “models make money from their looks, so ugly people should have the same opportunity.”
Thw winner of the contest said that, “he already goes around schools performing and, as he put it showcasing my ugliness. He sees winning the competition as a chance to make it onto TV.”
“He is planning to compete in Mr Ugly World, to be staged in Harare in 2017.”
