Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday continued with his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi by accusing him of going soft on the Congress leaders un the VVIP chopper scam.

Kejriwal said that the Centre’s BJP government would have not hesisated in arrested his if it was him and not the Congress leaders under the scanner.

In a series of tweets, the Delhi CM said, “if it was ky name in the order of Itali court, Modi ji would have had me arrested by now. But (Congress President) Sonia Gandhi is not even being questioned. Why?”

Kejriwal took a dig the BJP president Amit Shah by likening his attack on the Congress president to a mere “request with folded hands” questioning the Modi government’s resolve to probe AgustaWestland helicopter bribery case.

He said, “Amit Shah ji is pleading before Sonia ji ‘please tell us who took the bribe?’ Is it really a way to conduct a probe? Then you may as well want to close down CBI and ACB.”

Kejriwal said that, for Modi, Sonia Gandhi and her son-in-law were honest individuals.

He said, ” Modi ji carried out a CBI raid on me but not is not doing the same against Sonia ji. For him the Gandhi family is honest.”

AgustaWestland scam has been dominating the political discourse in the last few days with even the parliament being disrupted.

The BJP leaders have been accusing the Congress leaders of receiving kickbaks in the deal. But Congress has hit back at the BJP alleging political vendetta and demanding the government to present the probe detail including the order delivered by the court in Italy in public domain.
