Mamata Banerjee to Conduct Video Conference

To analyse the effect of flood to west Bengal and also to overlook the relief operations the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee is all set to conduct a video conference with the districts magistrates on Tuesday.

"To review flood situation and to oversee relief efforts, I am conducting a video conference of DMs of Bengal at 1 PM," Banerjee said in a statement.

In west Bengal, an eastern state that borders Bangladesh 69 deaths have been reported. It is estimated that around 3.63 lakh people have taken shelter in 2,213 relief camps in 12 districts.

According to the reports, Disaster management department sources told that the incidents of lighting, wall collapse, snake bite and drowning accounted for the fatalities.

Every year because of floods many people are becoming homeless, orphans, and losing their asserts which is the great loss to every individual.
