To raise poll fever in Bihar two mega public rallies are going in the coming days. To hit back at PM Narendra Modi, the grand alliance of the JDU, RJD and Congress is going to organise Swabhiman Rally in Patna where Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav and Sonia Gandhi will share the stage whereas, the BJP is organising Modi's rally in Muslim-stronghold Bhagalpur. A JD(U) leader claimed that the Congress chief was convinced to attend the rally which is the first big show of unity of the grand alliance against the BJP-led NDA.

Sonia has held joint rallies with RJD chief Lalu Prasad earlier, but this will be for the first time that she will share dais with Nitish, her new-found ally. Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav, Sharad Yadav and senior Congress leaders, including Motilal Vora, and others are all monitoring the preparations for the Patna rally.

Modi's three Parivartan rallies at Muzaffarpur, Gaya and Saharsa received positive response from the people.

Gearing to hit back with Swabhiman rally at Patna's Gandhi Maidan on August 30, the grand alliance is aiming at making this bigger than any of Modi's rallies. "The rally was planned to tell people of Bihar that how the BJP and the prime minister has made mockery of Bihari pride," said the JD (U) leader adding that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has already raised the issue on Thursday.
