Right Arm leg break bowler Amit Mishra was arrested by the Bengaluru cops for assaulting his friend at a hotel.
According to the hotel staff, it was known that Mishra has pressed her neck and attacked her with a tea kettle.
Concluding the words of Mishra, the girl who raised complaint against him was his friend since 2012. They both met each other at Chinnaswamy Stadium through a common friend.
Hotel staff said that, whenever Mishra check in as a guest in the hotel the girl definitely visits here. So, the reason they have handled the keys to her prior to Mishra’s check in.
"Otherwise it is impossible for a stranger to enter the hotel or walk into a locked room occupied by an Indian cricketer, given the multiple layers of security," said the hotel authority.
The girl’s right hand finger is injured. For some reason the cricketer has been avoiding the girl from 2014 so she was upset.
“On a personal note I am upset over the turn of events as he (Mishra) is a long time friend. The assault has driven me to lodge a police complaint. Now let the law take its course,” she said.
