The International Cricket Council Chairman N. Srinivasan who was appointed for two year tenure has been dethroned today in the India’s Annual General Meeting.

The decision was taken by BCCI and now the new and current BCCI president Shashank Manohar will fill up the seat.

Supreme Court has charged Srinivasan for conflict of interest, after that his leadership levels have been increasingly weakened.

Now he has left with one major authority as a head of cricket body. Srinivasan is still the president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and also his company named India Cements also owns IPL franchise called Chennai Super Kings.

But, the Chennai Super Kings team is facing a two year suspension from IPL as the team’s owner son-in-law of Srinivasan named Gurunath Meiyappan for betting and sharing team information. The team’s captain is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
